Langdun Technology Inaugurates New R&D Laboratory for IGBT-Based Intelligent Thermal Equipment
On the morning of September 16, Langdun Technology officially unveiled its Intelligent Thermal Equipment R&D Laboratory, a dedicated innovation platform built to advance IGBT-driven induction heating technology and accelerate the digital upgrade of industrial heat treatment. The unveiling ceremony was attended by representatives from the company's IGBT project team, administration, production, technical research center, and procurement departments.
A Strategic Bet on IGBT Induction Heating
The new laboratory represents one of Langdun Technology's most important technology investments to date, centered squarely on the application of **IGBT power modules in induction heating equipment.
Research activities will combine the practical operating requirements of power-frequency induction furnaces with targeted development across three fronts:
Key technology research on IGBT-based control and power conversion;
Equipment optimization and validation under real production conditions;
Customized solution development tailored to individual customer needs.
The lab's overarching mission is to deliver the aluminum processing industry with more precise, efficient, and stable intelligent digital heat treatment solutions.
Strategic Partnership with Hubei University of Automotive Technology
To strengthen its technical foundation, Langdun Technology has established a strategic research cooperation with the School of Artificial Intelligence at Hubei University of Automotive Technology.
The partnership leverages the university's strengths in electrical control, intelligent systems, and engineering research, pairing academic expertise with Langdun's on-the-ground production scenarios. The stated goal is to accelerate the commercialization of research outcomes and drive upgrades in industrial heating equipment.
What the Lab Means for Customers
Going forward, the laboratory will serve as Langdun Technology's core vehicle for continuous iteration of IGBT induction heating equipment. The company plans to use it to:
Develop customized industrial furnace products based on specific customer process requirements;
Improve the stability and energy efficiency of intelligent thermal equipment;
Support the domestic manufacturing of high-end heat treatment equipment in China.
Target end markets include automotive manufacturing, 3C electronics, and metal processing, where Langdun aims to provide reliable, high-performance industrial heating technology.
